Klose ties the game .. and Ronaldo

Well, the second half of Germany vs. Ghana has been sufficiently insane. The two teams have combined for four goals in just 26 minutes, with Miroslav Klose scoring the latest to tie up the match at 2-2. He scored it just one minute after coming on, and given the way these teams are defending, it won't be the last goal in the game.

That goal is also a big milestone -- he's now tied with Ronaldo for the most goals in World Cup history.

Ghana take the lead through Gyan

What on earth is happening in Fortaleza? After scoring against Ghana, Germany have absolutely collapsed and are getting steamrolled by Ghana. Andre Ayew shocked everyone with his goal right after Mario Götze's and Asamoah Gyan has shocked everyone further with this excellent finish.

And with that, Asamoah Gyan is the first ever African player to score at three World Cups.

Gyan with a stunner

When Mario Götze scored for Germany, it looked like lights out for Ghana. The game was a pretty even one before the Germany goal, but they should have been able to set up a bit more defensively and play a possession game after going up.

But they had time to do no such thing, because Andre Ayew hit them back instantly.

That's quite a bit nicer than Götze's knee goal. It's 1-1, and these teams look like they have more goals in them.

Götze scores the opener

This isn't a good finish at all from Mario Götze -- he hit what should have been an easy header in the wrong direction -- but he still scored. Thomas Müller's assist was gorgeous.

Knee goals, unfortunately, count the same as regular goals.
