FINAL SCORE: USA 2, Portugal 2 -- U.S. heartbroken as Varela scores last-second equalizer to save draw for Portugal
On a swampy night in Manaus, the United States will have a chance to clinch a place in the World Cup knockout stage. If they can defeat Portugal (6 p.m. ET, ESPN), they'll clinch one of the two top spots in Group G, and the Portuguese will be eliminated.
The United States have made a lineup change for this game, opting for no true Jozy Altidore replacement. The USMNT striker is out injured, and Jurgen Klinsmann has opted to introduce Graham Zusi instead of another forward. That leaves Clint Dempsey alone up top, while Alejandro Bedoya will man the same flank as Cristiano Ronaldo.
Portugal scores stunner
Portugal are dealing with a number of injuries, and have not been able to pick all of their starters. Pepe is suspended and Fabio Coentrao is out for the World Cup, but both Hugo Almeida and Rui Patrico are not fit to start, and have been replaced.
If you want to watch the game in English, you have more than one option for watching the game online if you live in the United States. Assuming you get access through your TV or internet provider, you should head over to Watch ESPN. That service will also have a tactical camera, as well as Portuguese audio. Don't get access to Watch ESPN, or just prefer to watch the USMNT in Spanish? Then Univision En Vivo is where you should go.
The game will be on BBC Player in the UK and CBC Sports in Canada. You can check out listings for other countries as well at Live Soccer TV.
