England vs. Costa Rica: Start time, TV schedule for World Cup 2014

Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

Costa Rica are out to finish their improbable run and claim the top spot in Group D against eliminated England. Here's how to watch on TV and online.

Costa Rica have shocked the world with two straight wins over Uruguay and Italy. With a place in the Round of 16 secured, the Ticos will now turn their attention to eliminated England as they look to claim the top spot in Group D.

To accomplish that goal, the Ticos need only a draw against the Three Lions, and head coach Jorge Luis Pinto has said in the media that he plans to give some of his players a rest. Even with a few starters getting a break, there's still a great desire from Costa Rica to finish strong and claim first place in the group. That would in all likelihood allow the Ticos to avoid Colombia in the Round of 16, instead setting up a potential match against the Ivory Coast, Japan or Greece.

For England, there's little left to play for but pride after their tournament came to an end thanks to a 2-1 loss against Uruguay. Several lineup changes are expected for Roy Hodgson, including Frank Lampard likely to replace Steven Gerrard in the midfield. Phil Jones and Chris Smalling could play as well, while Ross Barkley is confirmed as a starter. Leighton Baines' injured hamstring means Luke Shaw will also get a start. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is out as well.

England have never failed to record a point at a World Cup, so they'll need at least a draw to avoid that infamy.
