United States make two changes for Germany clash

Jürgen Klinsmann has made two changes to his starting lineup ahead of the United States' crucial final group game with Germany.

United States coach Jürgen Klinsmann has made two changes to his starting lineup ahead of the USMNT's crucial final group match against Germany.

After a shaky performance at centre-back against Portugal Geoff Cameron has been replaced by Omar Gonzalez, while Brad Davis replaces Alejandro Bedoya in midfield.

Meanwhile, Germany boss Joachim Löw starts with an unchanged defence despite fears over the fitness of right-back Jerome Boateng. In midfield Bastian Schweinsteiger starts over Sami Khedira, while Lukas Podolski gets the nod over Mario Götze up front.

United States starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Tim Howard; DaMarcus Beasley, Matt Besler, Omar Gonzalez, Fabian Johnson; Kyle Beckerman, Jermaine Jones; Brad Davis, Michael Bradley, Graham Zusi; Clint Dempsey.

Germany starting lineup (4-3-3): Manuel Neuer; Benedikt Höwedes, Mats Hummels, Per Mertesacker, Jerome Boateng; Bastian Schweinsteiger, Philipp Lahm, Toni Kroos; Lukas Podolski, Thomas Müller, Mesut Özil.
