England play their penultimate pre-World Cup preparation match against Ecuador in Miami on Wednesday, with both sides looking to iron out any remaining flaws before the tournament begins in Brazil. Ecuador should prove to be a much tougher test for the Three Lions than Peru, who they beat 3-0 at Wembley despite failing to impress.
Still, we'll probably not learn too much about the state of England affairs from this encounter, with Roy Hodgson seemingly set to hand starts to those who missed out on them against Peru. That includes Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Phil Jones and Luke Shaw, who have all shaken off fitness problems to make England's final 23.
Ecuador look set to be without regular central midfielder Segundo Castillo, whose World Cup fate is yet to be determined after he hyper-extended his knee in a nasty collision with Mexico's Luis Montes, who has been ruled out of the tournament with multiple leg fractures.
