Germany have failed to impress in both of their World Cup preparation matches over the last month, drawing with both Poland and Cameroon. Coach Joachim Löw will certainly be hoping they'll finally find that elusive confidence-boosting victory in their final warm-up game on Friday, with Armenia heading to Mainz for the fixture.
It's certainly a game that Germany should be expecting to win, with Armenia having been downed 3-1 by Algeria in their last match. Armenia failed to qualify for the World Cup, and it's hard to see them upsetting Die Mannschaft, despite their fitness woes over the last few weeks.
As was the case in their eventful 2-2 draw with Cameroon last time out, coach Löw is expected to field a starting lineup resembling what we'll see in their World Cup opener against Portugal in Bahia next Monday.
Bayern Munich stars Bastian Schweinsteiger and Philipp Lahm have recovered from their injuries and are expected to start this game. However, it looks like Manuel Neuer might sit another match out as he faces a race to get healthy for the World Cup.
