After a season with adidas and no vertical white stripes, Southampton are back with an all new home kit that features no manufacturer branding. The Saints have created a bespoke home kit, created in-house, that features the traditional long stripes in their rightful place at the front and center of the shirt.
The new home kit features a shallow v-neck collar that goes down to an alternating red-and-white torso. The sleeves of the new shirt are all red with a thin white insert near the cuff. The home shirt is paired with black shorts and red-and-black hooped socks. It will go on sale later this month with the away kit set to be revealed later this summer.
While the kit that the Saints will wear next season looks good, it is not the most interesting part of the club's reveal photo set and video. In the new marketing materials are a pair of boot colorways that the public will probably not have seen yet. The new looks are from adidas and were set to be unveiled after the World Cup's conclusion but it seems that the Saints did not want to wait. Seen clearly in both the promo photo and video are a pair of pink-and-blue F50 adizero boots that carry the Battle Pack pattern on them as well as a pair of Solar Blue, white, and black Predator Instinct boots.
