Mexico were gifted an equalizing goal late in regulation in their CONCACAF Gold Cup semifinal against Panama when American referee Mark Geiger awarded a ludicrous penalty to Mexico -- their second such favorable call in as many matches. Andres Guardado stepped up to convert the spot kick, and the Univision announcer's celebratory call was an instant legend:

Yes, that's "GOOOOOOOOL DE MARK GEIGER" he's screaming, giving the referee credit for Mexico's crucial goal. It was also Geiger's second awful decision of the match, after sending off a Panama player under dubious-at-best circumstances just 25 minutes into the match. Panama were so incensed over the penalty that they tried to walk out of the match, so they probably won't be too thrilled to hear the penalty highlight later on either.
