The weekend was brilliant for Latics. We winning and other teams starting to falter, so it couldn't go much better. We have yet to wait and see how QPR do tonight, but so far it is all going well.

So it became official today, that Conor Sammon is no longer a Latic. Sad day in some respects, as for me the 6ft 4inchs tall striker hasn't put a foot wrong. He just couldn't manage to find the net. The Irish striker only managed to score one goal...

This is the look back at what our pre-season training and friendlies have shown the coaching staff and whether or not we can handle ourselves in the new season. So this is the evaluation of all the clubs efforts and just how good a grade the club is at with only two weeks till the start of the Premier League.

Well this is going to be a very very special game. Not only because it will be a big celebration of Wigan Athletic staying up (kind of bad to rub it in the face of Wolves, but oh well.) the celebrations to be promoted with an 8th minute round of applause to celebrate eight seasons in the Premier League.
