Colombian news outlet Futbol Red reported that Deportivo Cali has also declared their interest in acquiring Carlos Valdes.
The Philadelphia Chapter of the American Outlaws posted on its Facebook page that Philadelphia submitted a bid to host a World Cup qualifying game featuring the USMNT in 2013. The stadium used in the bid was PPL Park, per AO Philly.

The 40-year-old has signed a contract with Deportivo Cali, Nuevo Estadio reports. Mondragon began his career with the Liga Postobon club in 1990-1991, before moving to Real Cartagena, another Colombian team.
Golcarcol is reporting that Deportivo Cali has begun discussions to bring Mondragon back to the team. Deportivo is the team with which Mondragon began his career during the 1990-91 season. The Colombian news outlet has a confirmation from Cali's president, Oscar Astudillo, that the team is pondering a transfer of some sort for Mondragon.
The Philadelphia Union have once again been linked to out-of-favor FC Augsburg striker Michael Thurk, who is still seeking a way out of the the German Bundesliga club.
