The US is currently crushing Nigeria, led by Carmelo Anthony who has set the U.S. men's Olympic record for points in a game with 37. Melo was 10-12 from 3 in his 14 minutes of play. (Edit: He only played 14 minutes, not 25 as I originally posted. Because it wasn't ridiculous enough.)

Kentucky Sports Radio: Does Tayshaun belong?

Thomas Beisner at KSR has this very interesting and I think cogent look at the choice of Tayshaun Prince for Team USA. I think the Sheridan article he references is not very convincing, and is surprisingly hostile to the decision. It is certainly not clear cut obvious that he is wrong, but his case isn't exactly a model of reasoning, even for a sportswriter. In fact, it just looks like another low-quality rant from the bowls of Barad Dûr Bristol.
