Early last week, Roger Federer chatted with fans through Nike Tennis Facebook's Q & A. Federer is currently training in Dubai for the 2012 season and the 2012 London Olympics. The former world No. 1 answered questions ranging from balancing tennis and life to his favorite music. And then there's this gem.
From Tennis-X.com:
On his idol:
"I used to idolize Michael Jordan. Nowadays I admire Valentino Rossi -I love what he's done already in his sport."
Rossi is an Italian motorcycle racer.
The 16-time Grand Slam champion also discussed how he's avoided injuries, giving a nod to rest and hard work but also vacation.
"My secret to an injury-free career is managing my schedule. I balance the many things in my life very well. Hard work and enough rest is very important too."
Federer had a 2011 season in which he went 64-12 in singles play with four titles. He finished the year as the third best current tennis player in the world.
