Venus Williams's serve wasn't the only thing that broke in her Milan exhibition match on Sunday.
The left strap of Williams's dress, from her self-designed sportswear line EleVen, snapped during the American's match against Italy's Flavia Pennetta. Williams was able to cover up before exposing anything but had to run and change - into her third outfit of the day.
Here's a photo of it, via the Orlando Sentinel:
Williams is known for her on-court exposure from her provocative match outfits (like the red and black lacy dress from the 2010 French Open or the netted, bare-midriff shirt of her early round matches in Melbourne), but never anything like this.
After a long wardrobe change, Williams offered her opponent popcorn and the crowd a new outfit, but she was unable to walk away with the match. Williams lost 7-5, 7-3.
