Wednesday at the 2011 U.S. Open was the Americans' chance to shine. Thursday, the world's top players take over to show them how it's done. World No. 1 Novak Djokovic and No. 3 Roger Federer both take the court in their second-round match-ups on the men's side. Meanwhile for the women, No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki headlines the field.

There are some Americans on the court Thursday worth noting. Men's World No. 8 Mardy Fish will square off against Malek Jaziri while over on the women's side, Serena Williams will meet Michaella Krajicek for the chance to advance to the third round.
