Tied at one point apiece, Spain and the Czech Republic will face off in the ever-important doubles match on Day 2 of the Davis Cup finals.
On Friday, we were guaranteed a meaningful Day 3 in the 2012 Davis Cup finals, as world No. 5 David Ferrer and No. 6 Tomas Berdych were both victorious for their countries, splitting the day for Spain and the Czech Republic, respectively.
The best-of-five series will continue on Saturday, with the ever-important doubles matchup. Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez of Spain will take on Ivo Minar and Lukas Rosol, as both teams try to go up 2-1 heading into the decisive Sunday. It's the only matchup scheduled for the day.
That being said, the matchup could change. Many expect Berdych a Radek Stepanek to step in for Minar and Rosol, but that has yet to be confirmed. Day three will see singles matchups between Berdych and Ferrer, and then Stepanek and Almagro.
The Tennis Channel will have round two on Saturday, and coverage of the match begins at 8:00 a.m. eastern, though there will likely be a lot of pre-match coverage before that point, as well.
