Novak Djokovic won in straight sets over Viktor Troicki, 6-3, 6-1, 6-3, to advance to the quarterfinals at the 2012 Championships at Wimbledon. Djokovic's win was the last completed match Monday, as rain forced the roofs closed at the All England Club.
Djokovic had no problems with Trocki, a fellow Serbian. Djokovic scored on 81 percent of eligible first serves for the match, and notched 31 winners to 15 for his opponent. He won six of his eight break point opportunities, and was broken just once in three sets.
No. 4 Andy Murray's match against Marin Cilic was suspended during the second set. Murray took the first set, and led 3-1 in the second before play was postponed until Tuesday. Mardy Fish took the first set against No. 5 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, 6-4, before play was suspended with the second set in a 1-1 tie.
Brian Baker and No. 27 Philipp Kohlschreiber were scheduled to begin their fourth round match Monday, but will have to hold off until Tuesday. The match between No. 7 David Ferrer and No. 9 Juan Martin del Potro will also be played Tuesday.

Maria Sharapova's upset to Sabine Lisicki on Monday at the 2012 Championship at Wimbledon sent shockwaves at the All England Club. Following the match, eyes turned to No. 2 Victoria Azarenka who became the new top-seeded player on the women's draw. Azarenka didn't disappoint, dispatching No. 14 Ana Ivanovic in two sets, 6-1, 6-0.
The match lasted just a hair over an hour, as Azarenka played impeccable tennis. She committed just six unforced errors, while notching 19 winners. She won 63 of 97 total points played. Azarenka broke Ivanovic six times in eight chances, and successfully defended all three of her opponent's break opportunities.
No. 3 Roger Federer advanced on the men's draw, but had trouble at times in his 7-6 (8), 6-1, 4-6, 6-3, win over Belgium's Xavier Malisse. The Swiss champion struggled defending serves in a dropped third set, as Malisse scored on 89 percent of his eligible first serves. Federer's experience ultimately played out, however. He won six of seven break chances, compared to 3-of-11 for Malisse.

Maria Sharapova entered Wimbledon as the top-ranked tennis player in the world. Russia's finest won't be able to win her fourth singles title of 2012 at the All England Club, however, after taking a tumble on "Manic" Monday morning.
Sharapova fell in straight sets to Germany's Sabine Lisicki, allowing the latter to advance to the quarterfinals with a 6-4, 6-3 victory. Lisicki was the No. 15 seed in the tournament, and while SB Nation's own Bill Connelly expected Sharapova to advance, he also warned that Lisicki would be a challenge.
One Sentence: Both players have improved since Sharapova beat Lisicki in straight sets last year at Wimbledon.
Prediction: Sharapova in three.
Lisicki now awaits the winner of the match between Angelique Kerber and Kim Clijsters. Kerber, entering the tournament as the eight seed, won the first set, 6-1, in her bid to advance to the quarterfinals.

Venus Williams was upset very early at Wimbledon this year, but her sister, Serena Williams, is having better luck at the All England Club. After narrowly escaping with a win in the third round, sixth-ranked Serena was again able to advance through Round 4 early Monday morning.
Williams, facing Yaroslava Shvedova, earned a 6-1, 2-6, 7-5 victory on Court 2 in the morning's first match. Shvedova isn't the most well-known name in the tournament, but the Russian was on a roll as she had upset 10 seed Sara Errani prior to facing Williams.
Williams will now face the winner of the match between Francesca Schiavone and Petra Kvitova in the quarterfinals. SB Nation's own Bill Connelly predicts that match should go the way of Kvitova, setting up Williams with Wimbledon's reigning champ.
A clay-court specialist, Schiavone has impressed to make it this far; it's hard to imagine she has the offense to take out the defending Wimbledon champ.
