The eagerly-anticipated men's semifinal match between Roger Federer and defending-champion Novak Djokovic is underway. For many, this match figures to be the true highlight of the tournament and is already living up to its billing. The match is tied 1-1 at the end of two sets.
Federer wasted no time in proving that he still has plenty left in the tank. He needed just 24 minutes to claim the first set, 6-3.
Djokovic, as he tends to do, bounced back after the opening set, winning his fifth game of the second set via challenge, which revealed that a ball previously called out had just caught the merest fraction of the line. Djokovic went on to claim the second set, 6-3.
The winner of this match will be the first men's singles player to advance to the finals.
