Women's Wimbledon Final: Agnieszka Radwanska Wins Second Set, 7-5

Serena Williams took the first set from Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska, 6-1, and looked as if she'd steam roll through the competition for her fifth Wimbledon title. Radwankska collected herself after a short rain delay, however, and took the early lead against Williams after taking the first game of the second set.

Radwanska gained some confidence in the second set as she went shot for shot with Williams and pushed it to a necessary seventh game for Williams. Radwanska began answering Williams' power shots and serves with some finesse shots and even set up Williams with some serves of her own. Radwanska was able to battle and take the second set, 7-5.

The rain delay seemed to help Radwanska reset her game and strategy, and she was able to nearly equal Serena in unanswered service points.
