Serena Williams had a pretty great Saturday, all things considered. First, she defeated Agnieszka Radwanska in the ladies' singles final to capture her fifth career title at Wimbledon, but her day wasn't quite over. For an encore, she and her sister, Venus Williams, captured the ladies' doubles title by defeating the Czech team of Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka.
The Williams sisters captured their fifth Wimbledon doubles title by defeating Hlavackova and Hradecka in straight sets, 7-5, 6-4. Venus, who has five Wimbledon singles titles of her own, was upset and bounced out in the first round of the 2012 Championships singles tournament.
It would seem that Serena has fully recovered from her embarrassing turn at the 2012 French Open, as she was bounced out in the opening round of a Grand Slam event for the first time in her career.
