The first round of the 2013 Australian Open continues into Tuesday, with live coverage broadcast in the United States on Monday evening due to the healthy time difference from Australia. Beginning at 9 p.m. ET, ESPN2 will show live matches.
Fans may miss seeing No. 3 Andy Murray take on Dutch star Robin Haase at Rod Laver Arena on television, unfortunately. That match will begin at 11 a.m. in Australia, or 7 p.m. ET. Those wanting to catch the Scotsman may need to go online for coverage courtesy of WatchESPN.
Serena Williams, No. 3 on the women's bracket, will likely be on ESPN2 when she takes on Edina Gallovits-Hall of Romania for the second match of the day at Hisense Arena. No. 2 Roger Federer will take on Benoit Paire of France in the second match after Murray-Haase at Rod Laver.
Also highlighting the schedule will be women's No. 1 Victoria Azarenka going up against Monica Niculescu of Romania, and men's No. 6 Juan Del Potro taking on Adrian Mannarino of France.
