Day four of the 2013 Sony Open is set to begin and there are plenty of top seeds in action. Round two of the ATP Singles is still under way, though the first half was plenty exciting on Friday.
The first significant upset of the tournament occurred on Friday, as No. 5 seed Juan Martin Del Potro fell to unseeded Tobias Kamke, 7-6(5), 6-1. Del Potro was clearly gassed and had nothing to offer Kamke after his last match, which was in the finals at Indian Wells against Rafael Nadal, a match Del Potro lost.
But the rest of the big names are in action on Saturday. No 2 seed Andy Murray will be taking on Bernard Tomic, and that's one matchup to watch out for. Murray is preparing for an eventual matchup with No. 1 Novak Djokovic, who passed his first test on Friday.
Joining Murray in the stadium are No. 25 Fernando Verdasco, who will take on Alejandro Falla, and No. 6 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, who will be up against Viktor Troicki. Tuning in to the grandstand will treat viewers to No. 8 Richard Gasquet taking on Olivier Rochus, No. 14 Milos Raonic taking on Guillaume Rufin and No. 20 John Isner taking on Ivan Dodig.
On the WTA side, No. 1 Serena Williams will be in action, taking on Ayumi Morita of Japan. No. 4 Agnieszka Radwanska will be taking on Magdalena Rybarikova, as well.
