The top two seeds in the men's singles draw will square off in the 2013 U.S. Open final on Monday at Arthur Ashe Stadium when Novak Djokovic faces Rafael Nadal.
The top-seeded Djokovic had to rally in the semifinals, coming back after falling behind two sets to one against ninth-seeded Stanislas Wawrinka. Prior to the semifinals, Djokovic had lost just one set the entire tournament.
Nadal had a much easier time in his semifinal match, dispatching eighth-seeded Richard Gasquet in straight sets. Nadal also won his quarterfinal match in straight sets, and the only set he has lost all tournament came in the fourth round.
This will be the fourth straight U.S. Open final for Djokovic -- and third out of four against Nadal. Djokovic fell to Nadal in the 2010 final, but the Serbian star got his revenge in 2011.
