French Open 2014: Matches and TV schedule for Sunday at Roland Garros

Susan Mullane-USA TODAY Sports

Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer will be in action Sunday at the 2014 French Open.

The 2014 French Open is rolling right along, and fourth-round action for both the men and the women will get underway on Sunday. Saturday saw the third round wrap up with some exciting matchups. Men's No. 1 seed Rafael Nadal cruised to victory and we saw multiple five-set battles.

Sunday will feature the big guns on the other side of the bracket, however, as Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic will be in action. It will also feature the conclusion of matches between Andy Murray and Philipp Kohlschreiber, and Fernando Verdasco and Richard Gasquet.

Djokovic, the No. 2 seed, will be facing his first real competition of the tournament as he's set to face No. 13 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. It should be an exciting matchup, and the most-anticipated of the tournament thus far. Djokovic is coming off a four-set victory over No. 25 Marin Cilic, while Tsonga just bested No. 22 Jerzy Janowicz in three sets.

Federer, the No. 4 seed, will be taking on No. 18 Ernests Gulbis. On the women's side, No. 8 Angelique Kerber will get things kicked off at Court Philippe Chatrier with a matchup against No. 18 Eugenie Bouchard. No. 7 Maria Sharapova will also be in action against No. 19 Samatha Stosur.

Television coverage of the day's action will begin at 5 a.m. ET on the Tennis Channel. That coverage will run through 1 p.m., at which point NBC will take over until 4 p.m.  You can find a full schedule here, but we've got some notable matchups below:
