The 2014 French Open heads into its second week with the end of the fourth round on Monday. Both the men and women have four more matches to determine who will advance to the quarterfinal round.
No. 1 men's seed Rafael Nadal is still cruising through this tournament. He had little trouble with his third-round opponent, dispatching Leonardo Mayer, 6-2, 7-5, 6-2. Assuming he gets by Dusan Lajovic, his quarterfinal opponent will be either David Ferrer or Kevin Anderson. Andy Murray had a much tougher go in the third round, needing five sets to put away Philip Kohlschreiber. A Nadal-Murray semifinal match continues to look like the most possible outcome, but with so many upsets in the last week nothing is set in stone.
On the women's side, chaos reigns with Maria Sharapova, Serena Williams, Li Na and Victoria Azarenka all eliminated. No. 4 Simona Halep is the top seed left in this group, and she'll be taking on No. 15 Sloane Stephens, the last American woman alive. The winner could end up facing Svetlana Kuznetsova, who eliminated No. 5 Petra Kvitova in the third round.

No. 1 Rafael Nadal vs. Dusan Lajovic
No. 5 David Ferrer vs. No. 19 Kevin Anderson
