David Ferrer has lost in the second round, while top seeds Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray advanced on Wednesday at Wimbledon.

The second round of Wimbledon got underway in its third day on Wednesday, and we saw a significant upset in the men's singles bracket. No. 7 seed David Ferrer couldn't hold off unseeded Andrey Kuznetsov, the No. 118 player in the world who had to qualify for the tournament.

Kuznetsov took the five-set thriller, 6-7(5), 6-0, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2, snapping Ferrer's streak of 10 consecutive Grand Slam quarterfinals and 17 consecutive appearances in Grand Slam third rounds. Ferrer hasn't consistently taken home titles, but he's earned his ranking by consistently making it through to the later rounds of major tournaments, which makes the win so impressive for Kuznetsov.

For the record, Ferrer neglected to use his stomach problems as an excuse for his loss, saying during the post-match interview that Kuznetsov was better than him. Ferrer previously dropped out of the warm-up tournament before Wimbledon due to the issues. Kuznetsov will advance to the third round, where he'll take on Leonardo Mayer.

Men's No. 1 seed Novak Djokovic was pushed to four sets in his match against the always-tough Radek Stepanek, but eventually won, 6-4, 6-3, 6-7(5), 7-6(5). No. 3 seed Andy Murray also won his match, dominating unseeded Blaz Rola, 6-1, 6-1, 6-0.

For the women, No. 2 seed Na Li took down Yvonne Meusburger, 6-2,6 -2, and Agnieszka Radwanska, the fourth seed for the women, took down Casey Dellacqua, 6-4, 6-0. Petra Kvitova and Caroline Wozniacki were also victorious for the women. No. 14 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Sam Querrey had their match suspended in the middle of a fifth set tiebreak.
