The fourth round will continue on Tuesday at the 2014 Wimbledon Championships, along with the beginning of quarterfinals action. The draw hasn't lined up cleanly due to numerous weather delays throughout the tournament thus far, but Tuesday will have a few top-tier matchups worth watching.
Quarterfinals play will feature just two matches, both of which come from the women's bracket. No. 6 Petra Kvitova will take on unseeded Barbora Zahlavova Strycova. Kvitova cruised through her fourth-round opponent, Shuai Peng, while Strycova also made it through her considerably tougher opponent, No. 16 seed Caroline Wozniacki.
The other match will see No. 22 Ekaterina Makarova of Russia battle No. 23 Lucie Safarova. The latter easily defeated unseeded Tereza Smitkova last round, but Makarova scored a much more impressive victory over No. 4 seed Agnieszka Radwanska, 6-3, 6-0, to make it into the quarterfinals.
Fourth-round action on the day will include both No. 2 seed Rafael Nadal and No. 4 seed Roger Federer for the men. Nadal will meet the unseeded Nick Kyrgios, while Federer will face No. 23 seed Tommy Robredo. There will be higher seeds in action for the women as well, including No. 3 Simona Halep, who will go up against Zarina Diyas.
