Stay connected with SB Nation

BATE have one small surprise in their lineup, as they've left Renan Bressan out. He's been one of their stars during their recent rise to prominence, but he also sat out their 3-1 win against Lille. He's replaced by Aleksandr Hleb, who was rested over the weekend. Bayern Munich's lineup features one minor surprise as well, with Javi Martinez coming into the team for Bastian Schweinsteiger.

BATE Borisov starting lineup (4-3-2-1): Andrey Gorbunov; Maksim Bordachyov, Egor Filipenko, Marko Simić, Denis Polyakov; Aleksandr Volodko, Dmitri Likhtarovich, Edgar Olekhnovich; Aleksandr Hleb, Aleksandr Pavlov; Vitali Rodionov

Bayern Munich starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Manuel Neuer; Holger Badstuber, Dante, Jerome Boateng, Philipp Lahm; Javi Martínez, Luiz Gustavo; Franck Ribéry, Toni Kroos, Thomas Müller; Mario Mandžukić

Kickoff is at 8:45 p.m. local time, 2:45 p.m. ET from Dynama Stadium. You can catch the game on DirecTV Soccer in the U.S., Sky Sports red button in the U.K. and Sportsnet World in Canada.
