Arsenal have opted for Olivier Giroud, Lukas Podolski and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain up front as they attempt to progress in the Champions League by defeating Montpellier at the Emirates.
Wojciech Szczesny continues in goal, while the rest of Arsenal's lineup is as expected, with Mikel Arteta, Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla comprising the Gunners' midfield. Arsene Wenger has clearly set his sights on qualification, and has not rested any first-teamers ahead of his weekend clash against Aston Villa.
Montpellier line up largely as expected, with rumoured Arsenal target Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa captaining their team at the heart of defence. Gaetan Charbonnier starts up front alone.
Arsenal (4-3-3): Wojciech Szczesny; Thomas Vermaelen, Laurent Koscielny, Per Mertesacker, Bacary Sagna; Mikel Arteta, Jack Wilshere, Santi Cazorla; Lukas Podolski, Olivier Giroud, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Montpellier: Geoffrey Jourdren, Henri Bedimo, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, Abdel El Kaoutari, Daniel Congré, Marco Estrada, Remy Cabella, Younes Belhanda, Anthony Mounier, Mathieu Deplagne, Gaetan Charbonnier.
