Six prospects plan on committing at 2013 US Army All-American Bowl

Every year, multiple players make their commitments public at the US Army All-American Bowl. The 2013 edition will be no different.

Plano (Texas) Prestonwood Christian linebacker Mike Mitchell

A commitment to Ohio St. nearly went down back during the summer before Mitchell had even visited, according to popular theories, but the super-athletic linebacker decided to extend his recruitment, visiting several schools during the fall.

Mitchell says that Oregon is still in contention for his services, but he has not made a visit to Eugene.

The Aggies have the advantage in terms of proximity, but Mitchell isn't a Texas native, so he doesn't have deep ties to the state. Given his connections to Urban Meyer as a longtime Gator fan, the Buckeyes seem like the overwhelming favorite.

Prediction: Ohio St.

Orlando (Fla.) Evans wide receiver Tony Stevens

A lanky receiver listed at 6-4 and 175 pounds, Stevens has told various outlets that he is down to Texas A&M, Florida St., and Ohio St., but there have been plenty of rumors about the Buckeyes and Seminoles not being major options for Stevens.

That leaves the Aggies, who already have 34 commits and a large number of wide receiver pledges. It hasn't stopped A&M from continuing to recruit Stevens, who looks poised to become the 35th commitment in the 2013 class.

Prediction: Texas A&M

Upland (Calif.) defensive end Joe Mathis

The strongside end prospect has the size and strength has a final four of USC, UCLA, Alabama, and Washington. However, Mathis has only taken official visits to Texas A&M, Utah, and Washington. He did visit Westwood three times this fall, so the Bruins seem to be very much in the mix.

The Huskies received the last official visit from Mathis, perhaps the reason why his 247Sports profile page lists Washington ahead of the other schools as "warmer." Plenty of prospects find it hard to say no to Tosh Lupoi, one of the top recruiters in the nation and Mathis may be another big addition to an outstanding Washington class.

Prediction: Washington

Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep defensive end Al-Quadin Muhammad

Miami and Notre Dame are the two top schools on Muhammad's list, with Alabama and Rutgers schools that are also in contention.

The Irish have not received a visit from Muhammad, but he has connections to the school because his former teammate Elijah Shumate plays in South Bend now.

One prediction has him going to Miami:

Clairton (Pa.) wide receiver Tyler Boyd

Like some of the other prospects, Boyd hasn't visited several of the schools that he has in his final group, including West Virginia and Michigan St.

The 6-2, 182-pound wideout declared the Panthers his leader while in San Antonio for Army Bowl prep, so it would be an upset for him to choose another school, especially given the lack of visits to see the Mountaineers and Spartans.

Prediction: Pitt

Louisville (Ky.) Trinity wide receiver James Quick

A Louisville native, the Cardinals have received three visits from Quick during the fall and were named the leaders for his services back in December.

However, Quick now says that he hasn't yet made a decision ($) and that Ohio St. has vaulted into the leading position in the last few days and made two trips to Columbus in the last several months.

Prediction: Louisville
