Blueshirt Banter Faceoffs = Big issue

Ok so i wanted to address this issue with you guys.

i'm not as good with the stats as some other guys are around here, so i'll stick to my good old hockey sense.

Only Edmonton and the Canes have struggled more mightily than the Rangers in FW% this year (CAR-39.2, EDM-44.7, NYR-45.8), leaving us to wonder how the hell the boys have managed to outscore the opponents by 0.3 GPG.

This needs to be addressed by the training staff, we might need to see a change at 3rd/4th C. Its one of the reasons that the PK hasn't been as effective, while on the other hand is the main reason why our 2nd PP line is struggling in maitaining possession (an issue torts has already spoken about).

5 Players have taken more that 100 faceoffs this year, this is how they rank by FW%:

  1. Brandon Dubinsky - 52.2%
  2. Erik Christensen - 47.4%
  3. Brian Boyle - 46.7%
  4. Artem Anisimov - 43.6%
  5. Derek Stepan - 41.2%

note: Todd White has a solid 51.2% in 43 faceoffs this year

In my opinion, Christensen is the only one on that list with a skewed number, he's better than that and should be around 50%. but there are three guys (Boyle, Artie and Stepan) that are sporting abysmal numbers, Derek topping the trio with his oileresque 41.2% in 153 attempts.

my eyes tell me that there are three guys that can win faceoffs on this team and one of them has a broken finger.

what would you guys do to solve this problem?

Blueshirt Banter philly or boston?

just out of curiosity, in regards to the roomates discussion from the other day. we should settle this once and for all. i wanted to add more choices but its really about these two cities and their fans.
