Blueshirt Banter Brandon Prust

Brandon Prust by NHL yes I did have to warn a couple hbo guys about steppin on the ranger crest in the room, they apologized sincerely. Then I made em kiss it :)

Possibly the greatest tweet ever. Glad to see Prust stand up for the team before training camp even starts. I really hope hbo caught this encounter and actually show it to us devoted fans. These last words are filler to get to 75

Blueshirt Banter How the mighty have fallen

Honestly i expected more out of the division winners. The second seeded devils getting downright embarrassed by the seventh seed flyers who barely made the playoffs? The third seeded sabres with the number one goalie in the world getting beat by a rookie goalie and a team missing its top scorer? The presidents trophy winning Caps with a two time mvp, the best offensive d-man in the league and the most twenty goal scorers in the league stunned by the eight seeded Canadiens who were just happy to be in the playoffs after the season they had? Now its amazing how the underdogs played hard and humble and did all that was necessary to win, but not one top seed winning? Sorry needed to rant about how bad the east is. Now i have no one to vote for. First the yotes get knocked out by the wings and then the caps lose. Who are you guys supporting now

Blueshirt Banter What's going down with Matt Gilroy and Marc Staal

I've noticed that for the past two game Matt Gilroy has played less than ten minutes in each of them. i understand that he isn't our best defense man or even close to it, but he's a decent d-man and certainly gives the NYR a better chance to win than playing Wade Redden for over twenty minutes. He also has the potential to develop into a solid offensive d-man so he should get all the ice time possible. So why are his minutes dropping under ten minutes

Now onto Staal. For the past two games he has seen less minutes than every d-man except Gilroy. He does still see over 17  minutes but when redden and roszival are playing over twenty something minutes each, I wonder what is happening with Staal? Is he injured, or does he no longer wish to play for this team? Does anyone know?
