Life long Angels fan! I actually had tickets to Game 4 of the 1986 World Series if it had been in Anaheim. Ugh. But, my dream came true 16 years later.

Own a Piece of Lackey
Well here's your chance. Heritage Auction Galleries is auctioning off a 2002 game worn World Series hat from John Lackey. The question is, if you won it would you display it proudly or burn it?
Is there room for Tejada on the Angels next year?
Sure he's past his prime, but he did hit .313 last year with 86 RBI and 14 HR. He's a favorite of Arte (or at least he used to be). And Houston doesn't seem to want him next year.
I think he'll put up better numbers than Brandon Wood in 2010.
Pujols anyone?
Ok, I know it's amazingly early to even think about this, but I need something to ease the pain of the Angels not landing Tiexiera. Albert Pujols will be a free agent in a couple years and early indications point to him being able to command as much as $30 million per year.
That number is mind boggling. And obviously it's too early to even know what the Angels' biggest needs will be in two years. But, I imagine a "big bat" will still be at the top of their wish list. Pujols will be 30 years old then and still in his prime. Is there any way Arte would consider making a run at him? Most likely the Yankees won't be a factor because of their recent signing. (But, then again, you never know.)
Like I said, I know how early it is to even consider such a thing. But, if the Knicks can be planning for Lebron in a couple years, then maybe we too can dream.
