Since the mood for baseball is sort of blah at the moment, we decided to have some fun. We came up with songs that each Cub player would go to bat to if they could. I am curious to see what you come up with as I know there are some pretty good sense of humors out there.

Al adresses this topic far too often as I see it. I am not sure how many subsribers there are, who posts most often, or whom the repeat offenders are. The personal attacks on each other are happening too often.

The thing about text is that you can't read tonality. Statements may be percieved as an insult but may not have been meant as one then an insult is fired off in return. I read a lot of the posts and I can see how these attacks get started. I also see how they can be avoided. I am not sure why some people have to call other people names or who benefits from that. I think we all need to step back and realize that we are all on the same team. We all want the Cubs to win now and we all get frustrated in our own ways. I have posted things out here that people disagree with just as I have disagreed with others. This is one of the major benefits of this site. You are getting information (Facts and opinions) from a bunch of people. The information is yours to apply however you like. In my opinion, It's great to get other perspectives. I have learned a ton about the Cubs and the game of baseball from you guys as this site is fantastic.

There are times where I take a day or two off from this site until things cool down as it is just not enjoyable to read the insults being posted. We all have very different levels of knowlege of the Cubs and especially the game of baseball. If you read something that seems ridiclous consider from where it may be coming. If someone insults you simply ignore it.

I will get off my soapbox now. Thanks for reading.

Has anyone seen this thing that they have going on in Milwaukee. If the Brewers ever win, the team untucks thier jersys. This dude made a T-Shirt out of it and is trying to get support from a local brewery to become a sporting good line. I received an email from a friend asking for support. He obviously doesn't have a clue about baseball.

If you didn't catch it, Lou was on the Dan Patrick Show. He is interviewed for about 5 minutes where he talks about Big Z's chipped tooth yesterday, 1990 Reds Pitching, and Lou's expecatations of the Cubs making th world series. I thought it was a good interview. Go Cubs
