Steelers stop negotiations with WR Mike Wallace

19

The Steelers have announced they will stop negotiating with WR Mike Wallace. He had 72 receptions last year for 1,193 yards and 8 touchdowns. Wallace is restricted with the first round tender. Many around here have said they believe the Seahawks should and will use a high draft pick on a WR in next years draft. I want to hear peoples oppinions of using that pick on Wallace. UPDATE: Its now sounding like the cost is going to be a lot less than a first round pick, but from the sound of things Wallace turned down a 5 year 50 million deal. So I suppose I should re-structure the question to would it be a good idea to trade a 3rd or 4th rounder for Wallace, but pay him between 13 and 15 million a year?
