Not Sure Why But This Made Me Feel Better Today
Check out Dad's shirt.
Trade Bait and Potential Partners Game
There is plenty of speculation about what we can get for Orton. Personally I'd love a 2nd and a later rounder. And yes, I know, its immaterial until there is a CBA. But what the hell is there to do?
I think our biggest asset at this point is out receivers. We've got tremendous depth here and given that we have a ton of holes on the D, and we seem to moving toward a run based O, it seems natural to leverage this to get some more talent. Here's what we have:
B Lloyd
E Royal
J Gaffney
E Decker
D Thomas
K Britt
M Willis
I may have left of a practice squad guy or two.
Now let's play a little game. Let's say for the moment that no one is safe, everyone is on the block for the right price. Let's also say that draft picks are out. We want immediate contributors, we are only talking to people that can trade a player. In my opinion WR's have been undervalued by trading draft picks (Santonio Holmes for a 4th rounder) anyway. Play along, ok?
Teams with serious WR deficiencies:
Indianapolis
Tennessee
St Louis
Kansas City
New England?
Washington
Tampa?
Cleveland
I probably missed some, feel free to add teams. Ok now, start proposing trades. I'll start:
B Lloyd for Robert Mathis, IND
B Lloyd for Patrick Chung, NE
J Gaffney for Chris Long, STL
E Royal for A Haynesworth, WAS
B Lloyd for Brian Orakpo, WAS
Thoughts? Love it? Hate it? Got some ideas? Discuss and trade away...
The Bergo Gram: Offseason Wrap Part 1
Hello fellow Mile Highers, I used to write a funny/offensive newsletter for my fantasy league, and I figured - why not? These people enjoy crass humor, Chiefs jokes, and snarky comments right? RIGHT??!!
My purpose here is not just to make you laugh, but hopefully to teach the teens and tweens of our great Broncoland enough crude behavior and juvenile taunts to keep the south stands full of beer showers and mini-riots for decades to come. Its a heavy burden, but my shoulders are broad. Let's get started.

if I was betting on it being possible I would bet on Tebow.
Nice perspective from a former player. Looks like NFP has got a decent replacement for Lombardi...
