Cubs bleachers in the summer, Hawks section 323 row 16 Bulls section 313 row 2 .Bears wherever and whenever I can get a ticket I can afford. Booze year round

I'm usually either at the Hawks or Cubs games, and when I can't make it I prefer to be at a bar, so I don't comment that often. But all the comments sure make the train ride to work a lot better

Bleed Cubbie Blue A few thoughts that popped in my head watching the Bradley interview

So, normally I just visit the site and am too lazy to even type a one sentence opinion on a post, but watching the Bradley interview today a few things popped in my head. The next thing I know facebook is telling me there is a 420 character limit and I'm at 1253. I am normally too lazy to even post a status update there.  Just one northsider's opinion, and once the real games start I'm done paying attention to him until the Cubs/M's series.

Milton Bradley: SCREW YOU! Me and EVERY Cub fan I know or have talked to hates you for many things, including, but not limited to: not knowing how to run the bases, not knowing the number of outs in an inning, leaving the bat on the shoulder when you got a weak hitting guy up next and we needed a run, blaming others and never thinking there's anything wrong with you, appealing your suspension when your bruised ego was keeping you out of the lineup anyway, only hitting meaningless home runs, the fact I've sat everywhere in Wrigley from 2 rows off the field behind the plate to the last row in the left field corner and everywhere in between, including many many trips to the bleachers (even RF when you were playing), and NEVER heard a racist taunt or heckle, the fact I kept having faith in you to turn it around last year and all you ever did was be a complete piece of shit (Lou was right!), your puppet show,  I'm sure there are more but the last one I can think of, not paying any of your rent!!!

Notice how many things other than your skin color I listed? God I wish I could find a way for Mr. Bradley to read this. Can't wait to see how he messes up the mariners.

PS if you read this whole rant you probably could use a beer by now

Second City Hockey I met the Skating and skills coach

I am a manager at a downtown restaurant. On Sunday night I saw a guy sitting at the bar with a sweet vintage hawks track jacket. Turns out he is the skating and skills coach and is in charge of developing players. We talked for about an hour about the hawks. Some of the stuff he told me I don't want to make public, but here are some of the highlights:

-Bolland should be back before the olympics and center a line with Hossa and probably Versteeg!

-He said Brouwer was his protege the last few years. I told him he did a hell of a job.

-He said if we win the cup the people he will be most happy for are Huet and Sopel. He said both are great guys that work really hard and get unfairly picked on. I told him I couldn't agree more, and I told him I would put Campbell in that group as well.

-Said as long as Brouwer is going in front of the net on the PP he likes Buff's shot on the point.

-Also said Buff isn't the type who's gonna use the olympic snub as motivation.

-Told me lots more interesting things but prefaced them with "I didn't say this" so I'm not gonna print them

It was great to get some inside info about the development of this machine that we call the Blackhawks
