Jerry Jones thinks kneel-downs should be banned

Interesting note on Lamar Hunt: "I don’t like it," Jones said, via Jon Machota of the Dallas Morning News. "Lamar Hunt tried several times to introduce a rule to have it voted on that you couldn’t kneel down, you had to run a play. Unless you were trying to advance the ball, then you got a penalty and the time didn’t run off the clock. It’s not a good play. I’ve always thought that that’s a wasted play for our fans"

New Player Numbers

Someone was recently asking about numbers for the new players. The online roster has been updated with some of the new additions.

Doug Farrar on Manning and KC

Just talked to a reliable source in KC -- the Chiefs aren't out of it either. Productive meetings between KC and Peyton's people.

Matt Moore on Brian Daboll

Matt Moore comments on Brian Daboll early in this video from late November.

Jeff Davidson - Possible OC Candidate?

Connections to Romeo as OC and Asst. HC in Cleveland. Spent a lot of time with the Pats as well. Just speculating on a possibility here. He is currently the OL coach for the Vikes.

Todd Haley takes night off to attend Lil Wayne concert

Leave it to Florio to turn this into some Haley bashing nonsense.

I watched the first half of the playoff game last night.

I watched the first half of the playoff game last night.

I couldn't bring myself to watch the second half, but I just kind of wanted to see where we left off. Let's just say I hope we're working on covering WR & TEs over the middle in camp. WOW.

Finding the 53: One Word... Conditioning

I noticed in this video from that it would appear only the rookies and maybe some of the younger players are having to earn their arrowheads this year.

Gilberry Out?

Gilberry got into town today and a short time later tweeted this... "It's a shame when u want to be somewhere ur not wanted or respected #nolove"

McShay was just talking punters on ESPN and when mentioning his favorite prospect, the one team he said was looking was the Chiefs. Did I miss something? I'm pretty fond of my D.C. jersey...

Zorn set to join Chiefs

Everyone up in arms about the Muir promotion should be calmed a bit by this news. Flacco was not happy that he was let go in Baltimore and I think we got a proven guy to help Cassel continue to develop.

Rumor: Charlie Weis Departing KC? For Gators?

"Don’t be surprised if Charlie Weis doesn’t return to Kansas City."

D.A.'s Compares KC, Miami, and Boston

What was the fan base like in Kansas City during your time there, and how does it differ from the fan base here (Boston)? It’s absurdly loyal and even more locked in than here.

The Chiefs Radio Crew in Mexico

My wife and I ran into Mitch Holthus, Kendall Gammon and I believe a few other Chiefs radio guys during a 4 hour customs disaster this week in Cancun. I noticed Gammon and then Mitch and he...

Old School Media Must Adapt...

Looking back upon finishing this, I truly didn't mean for the following to turn into an entire post, or mini-rant, but Adam Teicher's most recent article in the star (linked here in Arrowheadlines)...

Did the Chiefs OverReach? - Upon Further Review

A look at the Chiefs draftees and where they ranked on average coming into the draft. A good example of how media and fans view things differently from those who are actually making the decisions on draft day.

Kestahn Moore - #32???

Somebody tell me this is a misprint. No disrespect, but nobody has worn the #32 since Allen, right? It was not retired, but it was one of those off-limit numbers, much like I expect #88 is now along with a few others like #19. I just stumbled across this and was VERY curious about it. Any thoughts?

The Jets Say Goodbye to TJ

I know that someone brought this up earlier, but without actually having a physical copy of the paper, I had no idea what they were talking about. To me, this is amazing. It also doesn't make much sense if they apparently had the chance to match our offer on Jones and then went and signed LT for only $100K more. All I have to say about this is WOW...

Fargas to Visit Chiefs

Justin Fargas is ready to see the light after years in the black hole?

Browns Don't Tender Brodney Pool

Pool was the 34th overal pick in Romeo's first year with the Browns. He is a FS, but could be a possiblity here.

The Chiefs released LB Monty Beisel and CB Ricardo Colclough on Tuesday.

By my estimation, even with Pope, there are two more new players coming. SHould be interesting.

Bucs dump former starter Mahan

The Buccanneers released guard/center Sean Mahan to make room on the roster. The move is somewhat surprising, if only because Mahan has started 52 games in the league and the team re-acquired him via trade from Pittsburgh last year.

The Legend of Tyler Thigpen

I hate to post this story on the same day that Whitlock is basically calling him out as well.  But, it is becoming increasingly hard for me to understand people's continued love affair with Tyler...
