So I post there this afternoon and reply to part of the main thread about how if they want a judge to impose the maximum fine on somebody for throwing an octopus on the ice, it should also go for those who throw snakes out there as well. And I get banned. Wow.

...or does it seem like the Wings on a whole seem to avoid finishing checks. Beyond Darren Helm and for the most part Brad Stuart, it almost seems like the Wings are for lack of a better word, "afraid" to finish checks or make contact.

I just saw a scrolly news update thingy on ESPN saying Ordonez was "benched indefinitely". I can't say as I'm disappointed by this, as his performance this year has been certainly sub-Magglio, but it pains me to see so much invested money going the way of the D-Train. Could Illitch have maybe pointed out what the mid-season sit-down did for Chris Osgood? That sure seemed to wake HIM up.

One thing I noticed last night tracking the game last night is that the Tigers on a whole seem a whole lot more patient this season.
