DBD 4.16.2012 Don Draper's Jacket
I'm the first one to admit here I don't have a clue when it comes to fashion. I just wear either a white or navy blue shirt everyday to work with some sort of tie that is usually a solid color. I just don't care enough. When Rishi and other's start talking fashion in a DBD, it goes right over my head. I skip those comments and hope someone starts a conversation on the weather or Justified. Well I think I might change my mind on fashion. That is of course if we're talking about this jacket Don Draper is wearing.
Now that is a sports coat that I will talk about. I want this jacket. I would wear it everywhere. I would wear this jacket while taking a shower. It's incredible. Please someone, anyone buy this jacket for me.
Until then I'll go back to ignoring all of Rishi's talk on watches and ties.
Have a good week, animals.

DBD 3.26.2012 Mad Men Returns!
Last night Mad Men returned to our TV screens. So instead of the regular images of the weekend, we're doing a special images of the weekend. The Mad Men images of the weekend. All images are via 30 fps and Bubbaprog.
Gotta start things off with Don Draper smoking of course.
And the 2nd image must be of a post-pregnant Joan.
Crazy Pete Campbell everyone!
Don is surprised!
Pete in bitch mode.
Word of advice. Don't talk about having sex with a woman you work with. She might be standing behind you while you're having this conversation.
And here's Joan looking quite buxom.
Peggy looking annoyed.

DBD 3.5.2012 Images of the Weekend
I know everyone is upset over the furd loss, but let's forget about that and enjoy the images of the weekend! All images are courtesy of 30fps.
Cal wasn't the only school that had a bad weekend.
Every time I get mad at Tedford, I look at a picture of Charlie Weis and become thankful for Tedford.
This picture reminded me of a story from my youth. When my dad and I was visiting his friend in Crescent City my dad took me to the Paul Bunyan museum. The giant Paul Bunyan and Blue Ox scared me so I just sat in the car crying while my dad went inside the museum. My dad also took me to the redwood tree that you can drive through on that trip.
So that's a story from my childhood, have a good weekend monsters.
DBD 2.27.2012 Images of the Weekend
Robert Downey Jr. "Tebowing" could only mean one thing. The Images of the Weekend are back! All images are courtesy of 30fps.
Nicki Minaj terrifies me and she terrified the city of Orlando tonight.
The Alabama 'face guy' has a face of the lovely Michelle Beadle.
She looks like a winner to me. Rishi should get her number.
I will not sleep until Twist has a mustache like that man.
Have a good week folks.

DBD 2.13.2012: The Many Faces Of Twist
Hey folks did you know that there are many different faces of Twist? Luckily for me I've uncovered the many different faces of Twist. Here they are.
Sleepy Twist: My favorite Twist because he's too tired to troll the world.
Happy Twist: He's just trolled CGB and is very proud of himself.
Seductive Twist: How can any lady or man resist that mustache and scarf? I'm quivering just looking at this picture.
Lawyer Twist: He just sued some old lady and will now celebrate his new income at the symphony.
Psychotic Twist: Make him angry and he'll take your heart!
Have a good week, people.

DBD 2.7.2012 Puppies!
I saw natteringnabob posted about the puppy bowl yesterday for the DBD. Well sorry folks you're getting another day of puppy bowl DBD because I love puppies. And anyone who doesn't love puppies is a Pinko (glares at Twist.) Here are the images of the puppy bowl via 30fps.
Bawwww. How could you not love that face?
The Desean Jackson of the puppy bowl.
This is why I love Animal Planet. They understand satire. Also they somehow know the lady puppies love purses.
How a good day folks.

DBD 2.23.2012 Arizona State Screws Us Again
Kyle Williams, Arizona State grad. Yes an Arizona State grad cost the 49ers a trip to the Super Bowl. I don't know what is worse. The 49ers losing that game or the thought for a Arizona fucking State player costing the 49ers that game? I don't know how else to describe the way I'm feeling right now other than to say I'm bitter, disappointed, angry, enraged, displeased, sullen, and depressed. I haven't been this angry since Mack politic his way into the Rose Bowl.
Have a good week folks and thanks for letting me vent.

It was that kind of weekend.
Just like the 49ers game, this picture is just a blur.
I had the same reaction after the Vernon Davis touchdown.
Can anyone explain the hair on the man on the left of Butler coach Brad Stevens? Anyone? Anyone?
Have a great week animals. GO NINERS!

View From Section 103
Last night my dad, brother, brother's friend, and I attended the Kings-Bulls game in section 103. Before we get to the pictures from the game I have some scattered thoughts about last night.
- Aykis covered this better than I can, but I must say the Kings transition defense is even worse to watch in person. The Kings seriously looked like sheep being herded in transition. They would all either run straight to the basket leaving a shooter like Korver wide open or they would all go straight to the ball and leave someone else wide open for a layup.
- The Kings half-court defense ain't much better. They can barely rotate and once again look like sheep being herded which either leaves wide open shots for opposing players or offensive rebounds.
- We sat across from the Bulls bench and I lost all respect for that team last night. They whined after every little call. Every single person on that team with Thibs leading the group.
- The crowd was full but way too many Bulls fans which lead me to this realization. The Bulls are the NBA version of the Atlanta Braves. The Braves became a national team because their games were on TBS. The Bulls are cut from the same mold. I met 4 Bulls fans sitting around our seats and none of them have ever been to Chicago. They just watched games on WGN and decided to follow the Bulls. I grew up with someone who did the same thing with the Braves.
Now on to the pictures!
John Salmons says "You're outta here!"
Jimmer! Jimmer! Jimmer! Jimmer!
I snapped this photo and then immediately yelled, "Fire Westphal!". I'm sure Section214 is proud of me.
Hayes: "Hey DMC. That guy next to you is the Iron Sheik."
DMC: "Seriously?"

DBD 12.12.2011 Your First Cal Game
This past Friday was a bittersweet moment for me. My father and I helped moved our friend from his house in Berkeley to Yuba City. I say bittersweet because helping our friend moved brought back a lot of memories for me.
I believe I've mentioned this before but our friend lived right down the road from Memorial Stadium. Throughout my childhood my dad and I would go to our friends house in Berkeley in the fall, BBQ in his backyard, and then go to the Cal game. Now we won't be able to do this anymore.
This move also had me thinking about the first Cal game I can remember attending. I was six years old in 1993 and Cal was playing San Diego State. The great Marshall Faulk was playing for the Aztecs then and was one of the most exciting players to watch in person. That was also the Cal team that had Dave Barr starting at QB and would play Iowa in a bowl game.
What I remember from that game was being astounded about how big the stadium was. How many people were in the stands. Being from such a small town like Colusa, you're amazed about how big buildings and crowds are.
I also remember how beautiful it was that day. A perfect day. I remember seeing people on Tightwad Hill and the cannon. I remember my dad giving me a history lesson on Cal football. A Cal fan was born that day and that fanhood continues to this day. I may not have ever attended Cal, but I'll always have love for the sports programs because my father gave me that love. I'm grateful to my father for that.
So what do you remember about the first Cal you attended?

How many of you ladies or gentleman would love to touch Rodgers there?
Epic fail Tim Brewster. And you coached in the B1G for a couple of years idiot.
Sorry son. You're only getting 1 out of 3 on that list.
You'll be seeing this guy on Jersey Shore in the near future.
