Niners Nation Niners 2010 Travel Distance

Has anyone else noticed that besides the 5 nationally televised games, including one in London, the two 1:00 PM east coast games, the 49ers are going to travel 33,264 miles to their away games this year? In case you haven't looked, that's 10,000 miles higher than the next highest teams (Seattle and Denver). Do you think all the playoff talk, prime time games and travel will take its toll on such a young team?

Poll
Based on the playoff expectations, prime time games, 1:00 EST time games, and the London game, what do you think the 49ers record will be in 2010.
What schedule? 12 or more wins.

Niners Nation Strength of Schedule

The 49ers have had a few heart-breaking losses so far this year. I know I for one am ready to see them get rolling and start making a playoff run. One interesting thing I was thinking about was the caliber of the teams these losses came from. With the exception of the Atlanta game, you have to still feel pretty good about coming within 4 points of a 7-0 Colts, 7-1 Vikings, and 5-3 Texans. So I looked into it a little further and the 49ers remaining schedule does bode pretty well for an improved record. Details after the jump...

Poll
What do you think the 49ers win-loss record will be for the entire 2009 season?
The 49ers will win out and go 12-4 on the season.

Niners Nation Glen Coffee Height/Weight Comparison

I keep hearing that Coffee is considered to be too tall, thin & lanky to be a premier running back in the NFL. I'm as big a Frank Gore fan as any (I have his jersey & autographed rookie card), but I think the intention is for Coffee to ultimately play a much larger role in this offense than just a Gore handcuff.

Quoted from rotoworld.com:

Coffee, listed at 198 at Alabama, weighed in at 209 at February's Scouting Combine. The Niners consider him a "downhill" back, but it's hard to imagine Coffee threatening Frank Gore's goal-line carries. Coffee is lanky with skinny legs. He looks more like a handcuff for Gore.

Taking height/weight numbers from nfl.com, it seems like the ideal size is about 6'0" 220 lb. I'm just trying to open up some discussion about Coffee's future with the 49ers and shed some light on what ideal size is at the running back position.
