Derek Willis #42   #13 Power Forward

Kendall Stephens #44   #11 Shooting Guard

Bryson Scott #57   #9 Point Guard

I'd like to point out that Willis and Stephens weren't on the radar much when they committed to Purdue but now they have risen fast up the rankings. Some coaches are kicking themselves for not offering Willis before. Painter gets slack for not getting the five star kids but his future classes are looking mighty good. Did he deserve that big raise? I don't know but he should definitely get a free gym membership or something.

I was just thinking the other day, which I try not to do too often, but what if the state of Indiana had only one major university?  Like most of our Big Ten brothern, there would be little in-state competition for talent, funds, fans, and everything else that makes an athletic program great. Granted you could argue that program might struggle in football being Indiana is talent rich in basketball, but what if there was no Notre Dame, or just Notre Dame was out east instead of in Indiana. Can you imagine all the basketball talent that school would enjoy?

Just food for thought, it would be interesting to vision school x having the whole state behind it.
