Is Keith Law "borrowing" my material on Strasburg... you decide!

Eight days ago I posted on this website that Strasburg would sign with the Nationals by the deadline on August 15th. I also said at that time that he would make an appearance as the Nats closer after September first. See my post below on May 31st on Strasburg and see what you think. What do you think? Maybe I deserve a job at ESPN.

First, I think Strasburg will play with the National's THIS YEAR,  as their much needed CLOSER!  What a great way to give him some experience and still limit his innings.

Second, The National have just as much leverage as borass or more, because if Strasburg doesn't sign, what's he going to do... go back to college or an independant league and risk injury?  Don't think so!  Not to mention, that borass likes to get his clients to free agency as soon as possible and if he doesn't sign, he will have wasted a year.  All the big money talk is a smokescreen.  Strasburg will sign by the August 15th deadline and will be in the majors by September first as the new Nationals CLOSER!!!

There is also an opening in a NYC league this coming weekend at 11:00 AM. It is an NL-Only 5x5 and the team owner cannot make the draft. He has offered 35% of the winnings to womever fills-in for him at the draft.
