Big Blue View Jacobs: Future Ex-factor???

I'm not ready to jump ship yet. We all know the game last night was ugly but I think the most frustrating part of last night's game was that they failed to adjust both on offense and defense to what Indy was going to do. Frankly if they just ran the ball like they did in the second half they could have at least managed to stay on the field long enough to control the clock and some of the momentum of the game. The Giants have talent but their coaching staff is rather stubborn when it comes to changing their gameplan on the fly. I was surprised to see that Fewell didn't adjust until close to the end of the second half.  You would think the "crafty" coordinator would cook up something vicious after seeing how the colts run game was eating us alive.

Posting and Toasting Much ado about nothing?

I feel like I am on crazy pills from all the twists and turns in this Lebron fiasco.  I personally feel this is all a sham and that Lebron knew where he was going a couple of days ago...after his reps spoke with the Knicks a second time and after speaking with Wade and Melo.  This is just an elaborate plan by Lebron's people to increase the drama of his choice and to put more eyes on him come 9pm tonight on BSPN.

Posting and Toasting What the hell are we doing?

It appears Amar'e Stad is coming to the NYK and it appears he is supposedly the only one of the "coveted" FAs who actually wants to come here. That's fine with me...sign him up. Adding a "supposed" superstar to this roster is better then getting no one in my book. What I don't agree with is that it seems the Knicks are willing to let David Lee walk without even offering him a reasonable deal. Maybe I am completely wrong and the Knicks are just waiting to see what kind of offers he is entertaining but why should they wait? What is going to sway Lee's thoughts when he falls in love with another franchise (T-Wolves) who offers him the moon?

I love D. Lee's game but I still consider him a good value second tier player in the NBA. He shouldn't be commanding a max deal of any sorts.

Big Blue View Breaking the bubble

With the waiving of 5 more players...Outside of the current potential starters, second stringers, other notables and drafted rookes, which of these "bubble" players breaks into the Giants roster after final cuts post training camp?

Why?

What is this player's best attributes/ what are his weaknesses?

Will this player be kept to play on special teams or will he play his true position?

Do see this player ever contending for a starting or 2nd string position?

Any of these players practice sqaud worthy?

Posting and Toasting NYK: Just say no to Lebron + Wade

I've said it Knicks fans! I'm sure many if not all of you are ready to chastize me for such blasphemous comments but let me explain. For starters, I highly doubt either of them are going to come here. These guys want to win but I highly doubt Lebron & Wade + FILLER will get us past any legitimate West Coast team in the playoffs.

Posting and Toasting The Celtics want Nate and we should give them what they want

According to this report: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/basketball/knicks/2010/01/19/2010-01-19_celts_said_to_eye_nate.html

The celtics want Nate RobinsonDoc Rivers believes he can really connect with the dynamic guard and bring out the best in him as a player.  Although doing this deal would be a big blow to the Knicks hopes of getting to the playoffs I think they should do it.  I personally believe the Knicks roster will be totally blown up after this season.  Also I feel that Nate will NOT be back next year, whether the Knicks do this deal or not.  So when another team gives you an opportunity to make a deal we should just do it and help ourselves for the future.

The only way I see the Knicks doing this is if somehow they can unload either Cuttino Mobleys or Eddy Currys contract along with shipping Nate over to Boston.  OR I would simply take Boston's first round draft pick for Nate.  I would not want the Knicks to do this deal just to get an expiring contract from Boston.  This 3rd option does not give the Knicks enough value for this transaction.  I seriously doubt Boston would be willing to eat Mobley's or Curry's salary so I really don't think that would happen.

BOTTOM LINE:  Get Boston's first round pick for a player we won't even bring back next year...let's keep adding young pieces to the puzzle for next year's overhaul of the roster.
