what do you guys think of a training camp meet up as well as the game meet up?   Idk if alot of you go to lehigh, but I wouldnt bet against it. I wont be able to make any games this year bc of my obligation to the military. (ill most likely miss alot if not all of the season games.) just wondering what you thought.

It looks like Larry Foote will be released by the steelers. maybe im overstepping here but I always liked this guy jw how or if he could step in here and play will linebacker? All signs look like hes going home to detroit and hes 8 years in the league now, however hes 28 and thats under the eagles 30 yr mark. also jw if anyone sees akeem jordan as a weakness in this defense, it seems like he takes alot of penaltys and alot of them are facemasks. idk it most likely wont matter but jw what you all think.

who does everyone think will be possible first/ second round busts, just wondering what all your opinions are. A few of my picks would be.. aaron maybin, donald brown, mark sanchez, josh freeman, vontae davis and derrick williams.

I would be very disapointed if the eagles were to take donald brown even if they trade back and get him in the second. I dont think lorenzo booker needs a shitty side kick, bookers already shitty enough. Knowshon or nothing!!!

Idk how much this will effect us, what do u guys think?

I know everyone is concerned about the wr position but we honestly lost 2- 4 games bc of the lack of a solid fb and short yardage situations. i know eckel did a decent job fixing that but we should be talking about getting leonard weaver. hes played in the west coast system so that fits, he may cost a lil more then most but idk 45 mil under the cap, he should be less then that lol. 2 years ago the kr game cost us prolly 2 games, def the green bay game, we fixed that and helped alot! maybe just an idea.

kellan winslow jr to the bucs for undisclosed draft pick(s). It woulda been nice to see the eagles step up and pull the trigger on this one for donovan. it will be interesting to see how much the bucs paid for kellan winslow jr. hopefully tony g will become available or something along those lines the offensive weapons out there are drying up quick chris baker also signed with the pats today. once tj is gone theres gonna be slim pickins. id like to see lenard weaver head to philly too!

I know we need to use one of our 1st rds on a tackle but can dunlap be runyans replacement at right tackle? i didnt watch him in college and i know he was a late pick but from preseason i just remember how monsterous he was. alot like gaither for the ravens. i couldnt imagine trying to go up against him. and i know left tackle is alot more important. idk you guys know more about him then me.

Is it just me or was there an ungodly amount of bad calls against the cards? I mean I know the steelers are always gonna get the close ones but man there were some reallllllllly terrible mistakes by the stripes in this game. it makes you wonder. and after that game vs the seahawks where there were alot of questions. the end kind of distracted everyone but why did they just run the clock off? the cards def should have had the 5 sec back.

im not sure how the eagles will handle this but heres some ideas of what I would do. I think this year we gotta get a bruiser rb, correls a solid rb but hes obviously not the bruiser that jacobs or barber are. I really like 2 rb in this draft for the eagles, lesean mccoy and beanie wells. beanie would do a great job for us but of course he has the injuries, lesean looks very good too although itd be nice if he added 20-30 lbs to become jacobs like. I really cant pick between them either player would help westbrook stay healthy. we most likely would have to trade up to get beanie idk about lesean. The other pick has to be a tackle bottomline which I do think theyll do. theyll pick up a safety somewhere my guess is considine is out, hes had too much time and has been a nobody for too long. i think we gotta get rid of greg lewis, he has done nothing since those fumbles in green bay except for the one long pass in the blow out of the rams. he dropped one big one vs arizona as well. Lorenzo booker, cya! I think reggie brown should move out as well, i love his talent but he just is MIA alot of games and we need more then that and dropping his cap number would help us later. akers is a tough one hes obv not the same and id like him to go but you just cant find a kicker thats available thats any good. Lj should be gone obv. but who knows what well do. next i think you have to look into julius peppers is FA. The guys unbelievable and to be honest he would look awesome in midnight green, that would create a log jam at de but hes the best DE in the game in my view. RESIGN RUNYAN! the guys just great he played at a great school in college he never misses games, true pro! tra is tough they can go either way on that. keep donovan he did just enough to keep his job just like i thought he would. I love our young defense. donot like akeem jordan tho alot of dumb penaltys. the draft should have players from these categorys, rb, safety, tackle. tight end, wr, maybe another linebacker. im excited for andrew to come back and i think we should all be optimistic on this teams future.

I dont think that last post did this subject justice. LJ Smith is the worst tight end in the nfl right now. Hes never made a memorable play that clearly helped this team win a game ( except the fumble into Fred ex's hand in the playoffs). This man thinks hes T.O. if he does make a catch and never goes to the ground even when the play is obviously over and that leads to his rediculous amounts of fumbles. Im tired of seeing him make diving half assed attempt to catch the ball over the middle because hes scared to get hit hard. DROPS DROPS DROPS!!!!! This system is meant to have a good or at least managable tight end! see dwight clark and the 49ers who made this system its best. Tony gonzales would be perfect for us. If you have a chance to get the best player at his position, i dont care what positon, punter to qb YOU GO OUT AND GET HIM! another thing the number 1 team trying to get tony g right now is the giants. if we pass on tony g and the giants get him, thats it were def. worst in our division. the nfc east has caught up to us from the winning example we set the last 8 years. We have to get tony g and set this straight. Bottomline you give them a 3rd rounder or lito and/or a late pick.
