Charlie Bell suspended
SMH...
it seems that whenever Charlie Bell makes the headlines, its nothing good.
Suspended for 1 game without pay for violating the league’s conduct code.
Monta Ellis to compete in the game of H.O.R.S.E. in All-Star Weekend
Monta Ellis will make a trip to the All-Star Weekend in Dallas as a competitor in the game of H.O.R.S.E. presented by GEICO.
Ellis wil compete along with Milwaukee Bucks rookie guard Brandon Jennings and Denver Nuggets guard J.R. Smith.
After recording all those crazy shots Monta would make during each morning shoot-around practices, the shot from last week where his back was to the basket and he threw the ball with one hand over his head from the player's tunnel and swished it really caught everyones attention.
The article also goes in about how Monta Ellis certainly deserves to be in the All-Star Game and how he should be in as many weekend events as possible.
I thought since he most likely will not make the Western All-Star Team, he could compete in the Skills Challenge. He'd smash Derrick Rose! And there is still hope since the competitors have yet to be selected.
Personally I don't like how NBA players are voted into the All-Star Game by the fans. We definitely have the best and most loyal fans in the entire league but the Bay Area just can not compete against China in the number of votes.
Players, Coaches, and team officials should be the ones who are allow vote and be the only votes that matter.

'Top 5 Trades This Season': Monta is #2
I am really tired of all the talk about Monta being traded, especially in these bulletins!
I found this article on NBA.com
Mistah FAB interview w/ Ron Artest
i thought you guys would be interested in this interview.
Ron Artest talks with Mistah FAB about his signing with the Lakers, his record label 'True Warrior Records', and he even gives a shout out to the Golden State Warriors and Captain Jack at the end of his interview.
i like the guy, but hate his new team.
here is the video interview:

Bye Bye Rob Kurz
so, with all the fuss about the ongoing drama about the Amare Stoudemire trade rumors, i decided to search for any updates on the trade talks. i went onto the Contra Costa Times website and i came across this article:
http://www.contracostatimes.com/sports/ci_12728710?source=rss
so i began to read the article and quickly got bored with it, so i skimmed through to the end and notice the last two sentence were about Rob Kurz. it stated:
"Rob Kurz won't be back with the Warriors. An unrestricted free agent, Kurz is trying to catch on with the Philadelphia 76ers."
personally, i thought Rob Kurz was a pretty good player. he did not play much with the Warriors but with some more practice and some more experience, i think he will be a valuable player to any roster in the league.
with the Warriors, Rob Kurz showed he had a decent outside shot, the ability to run the floor well, and some rebounding skills. he even had flashes of post defense with a few surprising blocks.
i want to wish Rob Kurz good luck with the 76ers or with which ever team who picks him up.
p.s. i guess this means no more 'Rob Kurz' jokes...
Mavs turn down Baron trade...
i was just watching NBA coast 2 coast and Chris Broussard was reporting that the Dallas Mavericks turned down a deal from the LA Clippers for Baron Davis.
the trade offer was: Baron Davis and Chris Kaman for Jason Kidd. this trade offer was rejected by the Mavericks.
Baron Davis and Chris Kaman could really help out the Mavs and could of definitely get them into the playoffs. but the problem, with both players, is health issues and the problem with Baron is hes obviously not motivated and is having problems with Mike Dunleavy Sr.
was this a good decision by Mark Cuban and the Mavs?
p.s. first bulletin post.
