My name is Tom, and I've been a loyal member of BTB ever since Dave (Grizz) Halprin started the site which was picked up by the SBNation a couple years later.
He runs a great great great site, and I'm spoiled rotten by the amount of non-BS I can find on a daily basis. Also totally addicted to it.
I've rooted for the Boys since the late 70's as a little kid living in Miami. The Dolphins were ok, I remember going with my Dad to the Orange Bowl when Flipper was the mascot, and his tank was behind the endzone. But to me it was never a contest. The Cowboys ruled!
I have stuck with them through the worst times and never wavered in my loyalty.
When I was about 13, my family moved to Tulsa and, joy of joys, the Cowboys games were on every week of the season. I have since lived in OK while going to school and getting a job, so I think I have probably watched every game since 1984.
Best memory was the 52-17 romp of the mighty Bills in the SB. I can't wait for that memory to be challenged by the next championship.
Dallas Cowboys fan forever!

FO compares Paea to Ratliff
Part of the Football Outsider's series of looking at the draft prospects. Oregon State's Paea and Illinois' Liuget. Interesting note on similarity of Paea and our own beast Rat.
NFLDraftScout.com compares Paea to Atlanta's Peria Jerry. I'm not sure if that's Rob's comparison or Chad Reuter's. While I can see it, I think the team that gets the most out of Paea is the one who can look at the body of work and think outside the box. When I was watching his tape, I kept thinking of how the Cowboys use Jay Ratliff all over the line in their hybrid fronts and how well he can pursue as a one-gap nose tackle. As those hybrid fronts grow in popularity (most supposed 3-4 defenses, especially the new converts, aren't true 3-4 defenses most of the time), versatile defenders like Paea will be great currency for those personnel executives who are looking to find relatively uncharted paths to the top.
WAS cuts Edwin Williams C/G
This guy was a better than decent prospect in 2009 draft, listed as the 6th best available Center in a deep crop that year (according to PFW's 2009 Draft guide.)

Barry Church gets some notice
Fox Sports writer includes my pet cat on his list of no names making noise. Now he has to make the team because this much notoriety means there's no way to sneak him onto the PS.
OT: How is Anthony Dixon a no-name? He was a top 10 RB prospect.

Argument for drafting FS in 1st or 2nd
Matt Bowen is on the Morgan Burnett bandwagon, I'll scoot over.
18 teams made their way to UMass to watch Vladimir Ducasse who improved many of his marks from the combine. His 32-reps on the bench, 8’8’’ broad jump, 28-inch vertical jump, 4.62-second short shuttle and 7.65-second three cone were all significantly better than his performances from Indianapolis.
Ducasse has official visits set up with the Cleveland Browns, Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings and Dallas Cowboys. The Oakland Raiders will also privately work out the offensive lineman.

I know every team's fanbase has their share, but some seem to take it to a whole new level.
Why Crayton, Why?
It shouldn't be said, especially not by PC (ironic initials). Finally he had fans back in his corner, then immediately undoes it all by shooting his mouth off.
The sad workings of a SEA fanboy's mind
Check out this masterpiece posted on the Seahags site. This guy is so obsessed with us that he went back through our gameday comments thread from a game we all painfully remember from FOUR years ago.

No surprise who they picked.

God what a moron. For any of you guys who were still wanting this waste of talent, read this.
Bucs fire OC Jagodzinski
Only 10 days until the Cowboys head down to sink the Bucs.
Miami waives Tearrius George
Maybe the Cowboys can pick him up for the last 2 preseason games. He's familiar with the scheme.
Bucs LB Crowell out for season
Bucs strong side OLB out for season with bicep tear. He was slated to be the starter. His backup Quincy Black has been getting a lot of reps in camp, so not sure this is not a big deal. But their depth has been weakened.
Funny rap vid made from infamous sports press conference clips. Really well done.
Mike Jenkins gets a shout out at NFP
National Football Post writer Matt Bowen names Jenkins as one of his 5 defensive players who may be set for a breakout season.

Interesting inside look at playing the loneliest position in football.

He's the eventual successor to Jerry, and he's a sharp guy with a lot of accrued experience as an NFL exec.

Duke Robinson and Phil Loadholdt
A Tulsa sportswriter has a good article on what might become of the 2 Sooners on draft day. Yes, he does mention a possible link between Dallas and Duke Robinson. I can only hope.
NFL's All-Disappointment Team for 2008
Yeah, there's a few Cowboys on there. But it's hard to argue against the reasons why.
