Burnt Orange Nation New XBOX360 NCAA 11 Online Dynasty

Due to the untimely demise of the original BON Online Dynasty, I started a new one last night.  I think I've already invited all of the original owners, but post your gamertag in here in case I forgot.  FYI, my gamertag is "AP Masterplan."

Also post your gamertag below if you're interested in joining.  We're in the 2010 preseason, so nothing's happened yet.

Rules: 6 minute quarters, All-American difficulty (in-game as well as recruiting).  Nobody can be Texas (not now, not ever).  At least two games on your schedule must be against a human opponent.  The original owners will have dibs on their original teams until the season starts...teams I remember being taken in the original dynasty include Florida, Oregon, LSU, Georgia, Baylor, Ohio State, Pitt, and Michigan.

This Online Dynasty will run on a 3 to 4 day advancement schedule with weeks normally taking place Sunday-Wednesday and Thursday-Saturday.  Of course, if everybody's ready to advance earlier than the end of the time window, then we can advance early.

I would also like to have some kind of communication forum devoted to the dynasty, where players can post and figure out when to get in touch and play their user vs. user games.  This fan post will eventually fall out of the BON front page and become hard to find.  Facebook group?  Something else?

Burnt Orange Nation Colt McCoy has horrendous debut, reinjures shoulder?

Colt's debut has been just terrible.  Right now, he's 5/11 with three INTs.

And, to make matters worse, he just went into the locker room, holding his right harm against his body in the exact same way he held it when he left the field in Pasadena back in January.

Not a good start to his career.  Hopefully the shoulder's okay and all this is just a precaution.

Not sure if this has been posted or now, but here's ESPN's training camp visit to Nashville, where VY and Chris Johnson got on the bus to joke around, tell us their nicknames for each other, and add a little something extra to the destination sticker on the side of the bus (see embedded video on the page).

These are actual spring semester classes (which apparently start a lot earlier than spring classes at UT), and not "winter session" classes.

Burnt Orange Nation "important playmaker for Texas injured"

Was anybody listening to the the Morning Rush on 104.9FM (ESPN radio) in Austin this morning?  They interviewed Chip Brown (himself an afternoon radio host on the same station).  Chip mentioned that although the news had been kept quiet so far, he knew that an "important playmaker" for the Texas football team had injured himself this week.  "It'll become more clear to the fans as we approach gametime."  Chip didn't reveal the player's name, out of respect for "his source."  Chip concluded by saying that he expected Texas to overcome the injury and beat Nebraska nonetheless.

Does anybody have any idea who Chip was talking about?
