This game will have some big plays in it for sure. But will the Falcons get to take part in those big plays? If you go by the stats, throwing the long ball is by far Ryan's worst attribute. Passes over 21 yards - Ryan is 11-44, 25% completeion percentage with 3 TD's a pick and 397 yards passing. With a total QBR on those throws of 56.6. This is horrible, even worse than TEBOW! We will get opportunities against the Giants secondary, but can MR2 take advantage of those opportunities??

I saw this and wondered to myself. Why? Just because we cut R. Agnone? We already have TG, Palmer, and Pelle, not to mention the UDFA Wynterwonderland. Makes you wonder if the staff doesn't already have plans to cut the new guy or possible Pelle. Why do you guys think we signed a TE? When we clearly need help in other areas such as Secondary and RB depth. Sound off guys and lets second guess The Comrade, for fun of course. lol

I am so happy about the drafting of JR from Oregon. That was the one player I hoped we got in this years draft. I didn't expect the JJ trade so of course I wasn't imagining getting a player of Julio's caliber and assumed we would not get a starter out of this draft due to our position so the best bet for a positive draft was to get the best speedback we could get along with depth added at LB, OL, etc. I think Quizz is gonna add a super dimension to our offense that we have been lacking for a while. After the Jump I will explain what I think he does for us, briefly, and ask what you guys think of getting him and what he adds to the O.

MY 2010 GM MOVES:

We start with a sign and trade with the Toronto Raptors. We trade them Josh Smith and maybe a draft pick, and we get Bosh and his max contract. The Raptors will take some of the hit on the luxury tax side of it at least for next season, due to a sign and trade. Then we give Joe Johnson his WALKING PAPERS, and take that max contract money that he WILL get, and instead go get Dwayne Wade and bring his star to the ATL. He would shine brightly too!! So we have taken Smith and Johnson out of the starting five - which of course removes 2 of the biggest reasons why the Hawks sometimes have lulls, scoreless streaks, and play without much energy- and replaces those 2 with Bosh and Wade- 2 players who play with a lot of energy and HEART. So here's the starting five and the top 3 backups. STARTERS PG- JAMAL CRAWFORD - Instant offense, can pass, shoot, and go to the hole. SG - DWAYNE WADE - Nothing needs to be said. SF- MARVIN WILLIAMS- Still very young, talented, athletic, causes matchup problems. PF- CHRIS BOSH - Plays hard, matchup problems, well rounded game. C- AL HORFORD - Getting better and better EVERY year. BACKUPS G- MIKE BIBBY F- Mo Evans AND(pickup a big body type player like Baby Davis, or even Gortat) C- ZAZA PACHULIA So folks, thats what I would do if I was the GM of the Hawks during this years offseason. any questions??
