Went to my first Broncos game vs the Chargers in 1967....They were killed that day, but I was hooked. I lived in CO for 35 years but now I reside in AZ....warmer you know. Of all sports football is my favorite. Maybe it's because in high school I couldn't get enough of the hitting....the adreniline, but I was not a dedicated player. Hated practice, just wanted to play. Played for Mitchell HS in the early 70's. Offense, defense, special teams...every down. I would drag myself back to the huddle (in slow motion) but at the snap of the ball I would transform into an animal. Yep, That was me! All 6'2" and 145 lbs at defensive end killin' QB's. On offense I was a wide receiver (split end), but we rarely threw the ball. It was an opportunity to hit someone.
I am 57 (almost 58) now and I have mellowed through the years, but watching football lets me relive my youth and vent my frustrations. (In old age you have many of those)

Getting pumped just thinking about footabll.....better jumpin the pool and cool down, lol.
