U of O was the best 8 of the 9 years of my life spent in college! My mom was a Duck Cheerleader in 1939. For the past 20+ years, every gameday we traded phone calls a dozen times between AZ and Eugene. She passed into Duck Fan Heaven just two days after the Boise State fiasco but, like our team never, gave up. Her hatred of Rick NewWeasel (presently at UCLA, who knows where next) was legendary. And, even though I am NOT spiritual, i heard her laughing and cheering through that beat down. AND last weekend, USC, too! GO DUCKS!
